Payers are adding limits: units per day, visits per plan of care, and reduced payment when more than one therapy is billed on the same day. Read each payer's current reimbursement policy for its exact rules and effective dates.
✨ Available on: Teams
🪄 In MyTherapyWizard
- In Flow Settings › Insurance limits, set units per day, visits per day, units and visits per POC, maximum POC length, and order and evaluation expiry for each payer.
- Clone a limit set to other payers or disciplines.
- Limits warn rather than block when a plan of care goes over, so the therapist can adjust before scheduling.
- Use Insurance rules to require modifiers or exclude a payer for a specific therapist.
- Billing: use Service Stops to stop, limit or flag services.
💡 Why it matters: payer rules are applied while the plan of care is written, not discovered when the claim comes back.
