Quarterly IEP progress reports can take hours when you copy data by hand. If you write session notes in MyTherapyWizard, Report Wizard turns the goal data you already collected into a progress report or progress summary in about 20 seconds. It works for school-based therapists and for anyone who needs a progress summary for families, teachers or payers.
Steps
- Go to Clinical > Report Wizard and start a new report.
- Choose the client and the dates for the reporting period.
- Select Progress Report, then choose your audience: School/IEP for strength-based, participation-focused language, Medical/Insurance for medical necessity language, or Parent-Friendly for a short summary families can easily read.
- Select the session notes, and any assessments or questionnaires, to include.
- Generate the report, then review and edit it. Scores and performance bands come straight from your data; AI only helps with the wording.
- E-sign when it is ready. Your signature adds a timestamp and your NPI.
Reports can also be translated into 17 languages for families. Watch the video for a walkthrough.
Built on structured, scored results
MyTherapyWizard is an EMR with clinical protocols built in:
- Guided Evaluations are scored with structured scoring: the same criteria, rules and performance bands for every client.
- The plan of care is generated from that evaluation, with goals linked to the baseline.
- Once the plan of care is active, its goals populate into your session notes. Each goal gets a Goal Performance Index (GPI) that combines accuracy with the support needed, so 70% independent and 70% with maximum assistance score differently. Each session gets a Session Performance Index (SPI), the average of its GPIs.
- Reports draw from these scored results plus the comments and narratives you wrote. AI only helps with wording. It never changes a score, and you approve every line.
