Not every guided evaluation should start your evaluation timeline. A quick screening, for example, shouldn't create an "evaluation report due" reminder. This step tells MyTherapyWizard which guided evaluations count.
Before you start
- Who does this: the account Admin.
- How long it takes: about 5 minutes.
- Plan needed: Teams.
- Have ready: your decision from Step 4 on whether screenings count as evaluations.
👣 Step 1: Open the Evaluation stage

- In Practice Settings › Flow Settings, click Edit on the Evaluation stage.
- Under Which guided evaluations should create an "Evaluation report" reminder?, check each guided evaluation that should count.
- Leave screenings unchecked unless you want them to start the evaluation timeline. By default, every template marked as an evaluation is checked and screenings are not.
- Use Select all or Select none to speed things up, then click Save stage.
🧩 How counting works
- Starting a counted guided evaluation opens the Evaluation stage. Completing it closes the stage and opens the next one.
- Unchecked evaluations, such as screenings, don't change the lifecycle strip at all.
- The Evaluation report and Eval admin review stages use the same list, shown as "8 of 8 guided evaluations" on the stage list.
- As new disciplines and templates are added, check this list so the right ones count.
💡 Why it matters
Because every guided evaluation is stored as structured, scored data, MyTherapyWizard's clinical intelligence knows exactly which kind of evaluation was done. This setting uses that knowledge to keep your team's reminders accurate: real evaluations drive deadlines, and screenings stay quiet.
✅ How you'll know it worked
- The Evaluation stage shows the number of counted evaluations (for example, "8 of 13 guided evaluations").
- Completing a screening doesn't create an evaluation report reminder.
